On Thursday evening, November 9th, the Gouden Stieren were awarded for the eleventh time. Back then, we were still called Blu Asset Management. And we won. In 2017, we received the Gouden Stier in the category ‘Best Asset Manager.’
These awards are sometimes called the “Oscars of the investment world.” Every year, the best investment firms and professionals are recognised during an event in the Posthoorn Church in Amsterdam. The year before, we finished second. In 2017, we came out on top.
We see this award as a clear sign that we are on the right track. Our approach is simple: we spread capital as broadly as possible across the global economy, at the lowest possible cost. No forecasts. No fancy predictions. Just facts. That helps us protect our clients from emotion and deliver strong long-term results.
Juryrapport
The jury, led by Marcel Tak, explained why we won. They appreciated our clear scenario analysis for different investor profiles, from defensive to neutral. They also noted our conservative return assumptions, which made our plans more reliable than those of many peers. The jury also mentioned our strong vision on passive investing, our attention to inflation, and the depth of our tax analysis. All in all, a nice recognition. But we just keep doing what we do best: Calm. Capital. Control.
